Obviously, all submissions must be Dilandau related and a fan based work. Anything and everything -- except hentai -- is welcome, as well as yaoi oriented pieces, as long as they're kept tasteful. All submission can be sent directly to: beans@beans-etc.com, and will be posted as soon as possible upon recieving. Before sending in any work, however, please read over the submitting guidelines below for each fanwork genre:
Drawn Work
- All fan art, doujinshis, and any other drawn submissions must be in JPEG or GIF format. My computer won't read other formats, thus, if they're not JPEGs or GIFs, they will not be posted.
- Please don't send me art that is so freakishly large that I can't even view the entire piece on my whooping 21" monitor. Keep all submissions reasonably sized, or be prepared to have them shrunk down if I believe they're overly large.
- Absolutely no hentai -- pornographic material -- of any kind. Art with a sexually implied theme is perfectly fine -- ie. sleeping in bed together, kissing, fondling kept within a PG13 level, etc . . . -- but no full frontal nudity or graphic shagging like little crazed bunnies. If you must send in mature themed art, then please keep it tasteful.
Written Work
- All fiction, poems, essays, and any other written work must be in TEXT format. Again, my computer won't read other formats so I will not be able to post them if they are not a TEXT document.
- Unlike the rule regarding drawn work, NC17 fiction will be accepted and posted. Don't ask me why but I've been much more into reading smut than looking at it. Besides. . .who doesn't enjoy a good lemon every now and then, as long as it's a well-written lemon. >___<;;
- If you're familiar with the basics of HTML coding, then I would be downright giddy if you would take the time to pre-code your fiction before sending it in. You have no idea how tedius and frustrating it is to go through a ten-page story or longer and put in the tags for every line break, emphasis, etc . . . while all the while, the whole terrible mess is not being helped any by the nagging little dread in the back of my head fearing the wrath of the author for perhaps messing up the layout of their story.
- Please note that I do not edit fiction, so don't send in stories and expect me to correct spelling errors, punctuation, or grammar before they're posted. All written work will be put up with the original content that it was submitted with.
- It would be prefered if a brief summary and rating could be included along with any fiction that's sent in. I've gotten in huge squabbles with authors, particularly over the ratings I give their stories, so I'd rather avoid the whole mess if you could just send one in with your piece. Note: Along with the rating, please say why you're giving your story this rating -- violence, language, mature adult themes (sexual), disturbing images, et cetera. . .
Miscellaneous Work
- Regarding any miscellaneous work such as screen savers, desktop themes, games, etc . . . Please keep in mind that I'm on a Macintosh, not a PC or IBM, so I have no way of personally installing and viewing any of these works if they were originally created on a PC or IBM to begin with. As a result, all of these items are still welcome to be sent in and posted, but all I ask for is a short summary of what you're sending me so I have something to work from.
Also, do not send in other people's work without direct permission from them beforehand. If I recieve something that hasn't gotten permission to be posted, then it's my ass on the line, and bubba, you can bet how fast I'm going to be trying to point their furious wrath back to you. Fun fun.
