Guess who's totally coming to pick you up at the airport next Monday?
OOO!!! OOO!!! ME! MEEEEEEE!!!
Yes, I am very excited that I shall finally, at long last, once again have my very own Brenna to cuddle up with on the couch, especially with the absence of my Jonny, who is now in Taiwan. *cries*
Which isn't to say I don't want you to have a blast in London. Because I do want you to have a blast in London. Because it's London, and blasts are many to be had. Sucks to be me to have missed your phone call again. I'm almost as bad as mom that way. Hehehe...
Oh, and don't forget to bring back my digital camera! I have the coolest idea for mood icons which I will tell you about when you get home, just to leave you in piles of suspense.
Oh, there's a little pub/restaurant (or at least was when I was there) right in the courtyard of your hotel in London that serves great food and has a nice, cosy atmosphere. Try it out, it's pretty neat.
Mom says: You should see the Lion King if you can, even if it costs a little extra money, if you have it. 'Cause it would be cool and you've always said you wanted to see it.
Dad would say 'Hi' if he wasn't right now swearing at the computer. Go figure. I shall say it on his behalf, assuming he would if he wasn't a half-crazed maniac right now.

Hey Bren, Good to read today that you are still well and alive. It seems like forever since I got to talk to you, and am looking forward to your call. I don't know if you will check this before you call but if you do take notice that I'm working until 3:30 tomorrow.
I'm busy getting ready for camp this weekend. Just Cheryl and I are taking the 6 girls out to Devon. The other leaders have to work. They will come to one at the end of the month when Cheryl has to work.
Not much else is new around here. The weather is pretty good but very windy at times. Actually I'm pretty sick of the wind blowing. I got my garden in the other day, and most of my flowers in pots. Dad and I went out tonight and bought some big awesome pots for the front yard. Now I have to find the time to plant the rest of my flowers in them. Probably won't be until Sunday after camp is done.
Well I'm off to watch Canadian Idol. Talk to you soon.
LOVE YOU LOTS

Hey Bren, So you're in Switzerland now. I'm sooooo jealous!!! I hope that you are taking lots and lots of pictures.
Not much has been happening here. I volunteered at the Children's Festival yesterday. Michele and I were there to face paint with 5 of the pathfinders. Although Michele and I were pretty apprehensive at first we actually had a lot of fun. I did really well as long as the kids continued to ask for butterflies, flowers, spider webs and spiders, but when I had one girl come up and ask for a zebra I was at a total loss. I made a horrible attempt and the girl changed her mind and asked for rainbow instead. Thank goodness! Then another girl came and asked for a cat but again I was beat. Luckily she also changed her mind. Michele did much better than me. She did a giraffe and a princess (the whole princess not just the head). We had lots of laughs and met some great kids. Maybe we will do it again next year.
This week will probably be pretty busy. I have a district wind-up (and no it's not here again this year) on Monday, Pathfinders on Tuesday and get ready for camp the other days. We are doing the Bronse/Silver camp this weekend and then the gold camp in a couple of weeks. Both camps will be at Devon, and hopefully the weather will be good for both.
Hope you are still enjoying yourself (who wouldn't in Switzerland) and we will see you in a week. Although we have really missed you it's hard to believe that it's almost over. Can't wait to talk to you again.
LOVE YOU!!!!!

Hey Bren, You must have some sort of MOM'S NOT HOME SO I'LL CALL radar. I can't believe that I once again missed your call. Dad told me what has been going on and you need to continue to hold your own, and continue having a good time. I hope that I'm home for the next call.

Hi Bren Good to hear from you again. Shopping .... Woo Hoo!!! It's to bad about the camera issues. You must get that from me as I am forever having a heck of time with cameras. Regardless of how much is costs for film or disposable cameras YOU MUST I repeat MUST continue to take lots of pictures. You are on your way to Switzerland and you absolutely must take lots of pictures. I was talking about you at coffee today with a couple of ladies. They know that you are gone and everyday ask where you are and if we've heard from you. When I mentioned that you are on your way to Switzerland one of the ladies mentioned that she spend a month there some time ago and all she had to say was OHHHHH CHOCOLATE, their chocolate is to absolutely die for. She said that they have a small piece at every meal. Can you believe that Bren, chocolate at every meal???? She also said that the chocolate is pretty expensive, but there is one kind that you can buy in the grocery stores that is excellent and cheap. I don't remember the name but I believe that it starts with an "M" (what is it with things starting with that letter that makes it hard to remember?). Hey, remember before you left you asked me what I wanted you to bring me back and I said just yourself ...... well now I do believe that if you had some of that Switzerland chocolate in your bag when you get here I wouldn't turn it down. HA HA Anyway I'm waiting for Grandma to call as we are going off to Costco so I should sign off for now. Take care.
LOVE YOU LOTS

P.S. Everyone says hi. I wasn't going to put that on because I think that they should send their own dang messages. Oh well!!!!
Tuesday, June 01, 2004 -- 9:27 PM
Hi Bren, Just thought that I would send you a quick one to say HOWDY. Hope you are doing well and catching all the sights. At Pathfinders tonight we planted the District Flower bed on Laydon Dr. Once the plants get really growing it will once again be beautiful. We also spent some time planning a menu for camp. We are going out to Devon on June 11-13. By the way, how are all of my borrowed items doing (ie sleeping bag, MP3, and plug adaptors)? They should all be well broken in by the time you get home. Do you realize that you will be home in less than 2 weeks? You're probably not counting down the days but I kind of am. We miss you here and look forward to hearing all about your trip when you get home.
Well I'm going to sign off now as Canadian Idol needs to be watched. From the American Idol one week to Canadian Idol the next. Look forward to you calling again. Be safe and continue taking lots of pictures. Just think of all the scrapbooking you (I'll help) get to do when you get home. Wooo Hooo!!!
Love you Lots Bren

Hi Brenna~
I'm jealous that you get to go to Vienna (yes, very much in Austria). Take lots of pictures and then photoshop my head into them and you and I can reminice about the good ol' days in Vienna~
Speaking of which, how is Jenny's tour going? How is the rock collection going? Lol, it's okay if you forgot about it~ I would probably look at the bag of rocks in 20 years and be like "Wtf? Why do I have a bag of rocks..." And then all of Europe will go into my fashionable rock garden (they'll be all the craze in 20 years...little do I know that petunias are growing by Austria~)
Tonight, Lance, Brock and I started playing with the thoughts of going on a fun camping trip...and you're recruited...whether you like it or not. I would threaten you with duct tape...but we kind of need the second car to help transport everything...and you're the only other person with a car...I guess we could tape you to the steering wheel...and pedals...and seat...and have someone proding you to drive in the proper direction. And no, you can't bring your trailer~ You have to sleep in a tent and let us all see your marvelous sexy morning hair~
Hm...what else is new...Oh~ I still haven't watched Sailormoon (that's alot of episodes, I need alot more time than what I have) so I'm still up for some hardcore Sailormoon-a-thon!
So, keep having fun~ And take lots and lots of pictures if you aren't already...and if you are...um...take more~ Oh~ And when you get them all developed, make me a fun photo album with kyute titles for all the pictures~ And that's really all, I'll stop rambling now~
Bai bai~

Hey Bren, Just thought that I would let you know that I paid your phone bill today ($28.84). Dad and I read your recent posting and had a laugh. Boat cops and everything eh!! and who knows maybe your next job will a glass blower?? Not much happening here except it continues to rain and be very gray outside. We will be phoning Sean tonight and am looking forward to that as we haven't talked to him in forever. Well I will sign off now. Be safe and I don't want to hear that you have been singing any "Sound of Music" songs while you venture into Austria.
LOVE YOU LOTS
Mom
P.S. Dad said to say hi also.
P.S. Also wanted to let you know that we finally had to close your bedroom door as the mess you left it in makes Rachelle's look amazingly clean. HA HA
Saturday, May 29, 2004 -- 4:52 PM
Hey Bren, How's things going? It is the Rodeo weekend here and it is . . . . yes, raining and chilly. Who would have thought that the Rainmaker Rodeo would produce rain?
We sure got a huge laugh at your last posing. I can almost picture (and will probably see a picture when you return) the "white asses" of Corfu. We have been basically hanging out here today and it's nice to know that I have no where to go on this rainy Saturday. Rachelle may be bringing Jon over for dinner tonight. He is leaving on June 6th for Tiawan for six weeks. That means that Rachelle will actually be a home for that time (which I'm sure will seem extremely weird).
Anyway not much has happened around here but I just wanted to send a quick note to let you know that I was thinking of you. I checked your account today and the Grant Mac visa thing went through so there is just $36.25 on it. I'm glad that it finally happened so hopefully that will help make you feel a little relaxed knowing that you can keep buying things (just put them on your visa and leave your cash for meals and stuff). Your phone bill came yesterday so I will pay it later (it's about 30.00). Hope you are well and we will talk to you soon.
Love you Lots

So I graduate in a week~ Weee~ I'll have pictures for you when you get back~

Also, when you get back, you have to come over to my house...it's completely different. And I have a big, big TV. All the better to watch SailorMoon on~

Hey Bren Just a quick note to let you know that Fantasia won tonight (big surprise). Also forgot to tell you earlier that I did the transfer so go out there and continue to do everything to the max. Don't leave anything out as you don't know if you'll ever return to do the things you might give up now. You earned this so enjoy it all.
Talked to Rachelle tonight. She called to let me know that she and Jon were at Devon and doing the camping thing. I asked her if she got the tent set up alright and she said she did but then asked if I knew that there were not any pegs in the tent bag. I told her that I wondered if there were any or not because I thought that I had taken them out to put as extra in the new tent bag. When I asked how they handled it she said that Jon found some sticks so they are hoping that the wind doesn't blow to bad while their out. I think maybe Jon must have been a Girl Guide in his past life. (What do you think????) Anyway they'll be home Friday (if they don't blow away first).
Looking forward to your next call(or posting). Be safe.
Love you Lots
Mom
P.S. Don't forget the promise and I wouldn't cancel anything. Go for it!!!

Hey!!! I'm Bloggin!!! Sean is one with the Blog... The Blog-Meister..Mr. Bloggerinni...
Hey! So... Nice to hear you are having a super time out there... I absolutely loved reading you updates!!! You had me laughing so hard.. I love it... Hey, even after you come home, you should just keep posting on the Blog about you day... It would give me a great dose of Brenna medicine so I can get that good hard belly laugh...
Anyways, not much is new.. Going to Seattle on Tuesday to watch a baseball game with a buddy... Fun for me, not for you, I know... But we shall indulge in the "not-so-famous-but-still-pretty-cool-tradition" and rite of passage that one must partake on such a journey to Seattle to watch a mariners game. You start your day by leaving at 2:00 pm and stopping at the first Chevron Town Pantry you can find for a coke slurpee... Now, if cream soda slurpee is also an option, you go 1/3 cream soda on the bottom, and 2/3 coke on the top.. very important. Next, you cross the border into the USA for the 2.5 hour drive to Seattle. Hopefully you don't get harassed by the US border guard for any kind of search...car trunk or human trunk...if you know what I'm saying...As long as it's "no worries" at the border, you stop at the 35 minute mark in Bellingham for Taco Bell for linner (lunch/dinner, silly). To maintain the required time, you eat in the car, being careful to get the correct amount of hot sauce squeezed out of the packet onto the tacos, as you drive, so as to not burn your freaking lips and mouth... Oops..Now were at the 1.5 hour mark, and in Everett...time to stop at Krispy Kreme... for a half dozen donuts... each eats 2 wonderfully magical donuts on the rest of the drive to the stadium... Arrive at the stadium and immediately head to the concession for the world famous garlic fries and a coke (or beer, if your anyone but me of course) Those damn yanks don't embrace the sweetened iced tea, so I settle for a coke...
Watch baseball, Eat more garlic fries...
Drive home... and low and behold, nestled snugly in the back seat, one donut each left to satisfy the last possible hunger left in your body...Cross the border back into Canada at 11:00...nothing to declare, except a damaging tummy ache... Now really hoping for the "no-trunk" search....but it will all be worth it.
Hey... I'm thinking about you... and looking forward to seeing all the pictures when I can get out to the tundra in September..
Stay safe
Love
Sean

Hey Brenna, I talked to the customer service at the bank and they can't give me any information because it's your account. The guy did say that they would be able to pull the times of the withdrawals but he wondered if you made a withdrawal on the weekend and then another on the 25th because they would come out on the same day. He did give me a number that you can call if you feel you need to know right away (but you can still look into it when you get home - which is what I would suggest). Let me know if you want this number to call or not.
It was great getting to talk to you today. Keep having fun and don't forget your promise!!!
Love you lots

Hmmm... I guess it took me more then 1 day to write u again, but yeah, not my fault, telus sucks and I was left internetless for 2 looooong days... Those would be the longest days I've ever had in my life.... I literally had to rot to death.
So now I'm back and alive and well, I shall write you! I was wondering, did you actually eat ALL your food? O_o like... the weird ones with olive and stuff? Like, did you eat your spegetti that DOES NOT have tomato sause in it? O_o What I'm trying to say is... Have you ate food outside of brenna's menu... If so, bravo!! You're one step closer to eating sushi! XD
And huh? You kareoke at a Disco? O_o Strange..... lol, you're developing the "Katy's bird paranoia syndrom" from peacocks^^ How sa.... nice.....
Okees, back on my side, yeeesssss, Pitt's ass is uber lovely, and the nakedness, lotsa Pitt nakedness, Bloom too, but he didn't "shine" too much in this movie, I like Bana better then him in this movie, prolly cause of the character they're playing^^; Anywho, more movies coming up, Day after Tomorrow and then of course... HP movie 3! All seeing it without you guys >.>; But really, I caaaan't waaaait for HP~ Can yooou? >___< But I'll see it again with you when you come back^^
Ack, parents are home, gotta flee and pretend I'm asleep >.>; write to u later! And have fun in Corfu! Funny name.. hehehe
Tuesday, May 25, 2004 -- 2:08 PM
I hope you're having oodles and oodles of fun in Corfu. You know there are nude beaches in Corfu, right? Been to any of those? Huh? Huh? Have you? Been *topless* in any of those? Huh? Huh? Have you?
I am going camping with Jon'n'Company. We're leaving Tuesday night after I'm done work and returning home Thursday middayish, 'cause Jon is moving out of the Clubhouse *whimper* on Friday and since I have to work on Friday, I wanted to help as much as I could in the morning. Everyone else will join the moving fun later in the day, or so I hear. I'm hoping it won't be cold whilst we're camping, 'cause we're doing that tenting thing which I haven't done in a while. We were going to just go to the cabin, 'cause that's easier, but someone else is using it, apparently, so BOO! Oh well, things happen I suppose. Hopefully I'll be able to use it another time this summer. *crosses fingers*
What's with no post since Rome? Did you get stuck on George's Boat? Please tell me you went on George's Boat! Sooo much fun. I should have asked you to get me one of the shirts. "Same Shit, Different Day." If you haven't been on the boat yet and read this and are going to be on the boat, can you get me a shirt? A small one? Pu-leease? I'll love you forever.
In your absence, I have been reading your mangas and occassionally raiding your bedroom for clothes. Mostly sitting on your bed hugging your pillow sobbing for lack of your company. Much hugs and hand flailing love sent in your direction.

Hello~
So, I'm pretty much the only friend who hasn't wrote to you yet. My excuse is, is that you left me Ben~ And being the Ben-addict I am...I went into horrible withdrawal and spent a week in rehab. I am alive and healthy again, thanks to my magical replacement-Brenna aka videogames.
I hope you had fun in Florence. During my trip to Italy and Greece, Florence was my most favourite place. Absolutely beautiful. Did you go to all the wonderful churchs and see where DaVinci and Copernicus (well, after the church forgave him for his crazy "earth rotates around the sun" antics) were buried. And did you climb to the top of the Dome thing with the MILLIONS of steps? Only to realize that there's really nothing at the top...No prizes for making that ridiculous climb...*sigh*
Rome is also pretty. I enjoyed the coliseum since Gladiator movie came out prior to my going there...so I was all in awe and stuff. And yeah...the Vatican...hope you got to see the pope...I never got to. *sighs*
I have no idea where you are now since I'm not looking at your itinerary...but I'm sure it's exciting and what not. More exciting than anything I have to do...today I went shopping with Nao (you don't know her, but I'll have to introduce you to her so your head can explode at her kyuteness). And I actually bought some summer clothes~ *dances in new capris and summery flowery-yellow shirt* Uh...we had a fun movie night yesterday and played Apples to Apples. Other than that...lots and lots of videogames~ So yeah...really not exciting.
Anyways, I'll write to you again so I don't seem like such a dilinquent friend. Coleen should probably write in your guy's blog thingy sometime...I'm becoming convinced that you by accidently left Coleen at home and took a rock with you...or possibly Jenny since it is her world tour. The Jenny here is actually a hologram...I tried to punch her the other day...and I fell through. Have fun you two.
From Amanda

Hey Bren, Just got back from Drumheller and thought that I would send you a note. I read you latest posting and hardly think that all the pasta you're eating will do anything to you (you are such a lucky duck). We had a great time in Drumheller (once we got there). We left Friday at 5:30 and got just over an hour out of town and had a flat tire (yes a flat tire driving on the highway). Lucky for me it wasn't all that scary and as Cheryl and I were standing on the side of the road admiring our lovely tire and nice man stopped and offered to change it for us. I called dad and we ended up having to drive back to Leduc at 80 k/hr (instead of the 110 k) where he met us and then we had to find someplace to sell us two new tires and put them on the van. Being the long weekend Friday places were closed down early but we found a guy who was just closing shop and he stayed open to help us out. We were suppose to reach Drumheller at about 9:00 but didn't get there till midnight. Man, I was one tired, stressed lady by the time we got there. Anyway we had a great time, went to the museum all of Saturday. Sunday we went hiking in the coulees, went on a mini ferry ride, walked a suspension bridge (well everyone else did - I was the smartest one and stayed on solid ground), went swimming, more hiking in Horseshoe Canyon, checked out the hoodoos all before we had pizza at 8:30 that night. We left today and spend another hour or so at Horseshoe Canyon before coming home. As you can guess I am beat so I'm hoping to get to bed early tonight.
Hope I get to talk to you soon. If not don't forget to keep us posted as to your trip whereabouts and how you are doing.
Love You A Lot Bren, and I miss you.

Hi Bren. Grampa and I have had a great read here going back through your e-mails. Sounds like you're having a great trip including all the goodies, baddies, highs, lows, moans, groans and joys that go with travelling. You're seeing places that I haven't seen yet - would like to see Paris and the French countryside. Thank goodness for CHOCOLATE and PASTA - know you won't starve. We had Christopher and Matthew here for greater part of a week - lots of fun. Enjoy all that hot weather, cause we don't got it here!. Keep on a truckin!. Love, Gram and Grampa Saunders

For many days I've been debating on what to write on this, and thus I've decided to write about something that I don't know what I'm gunna write about and what did I just write? Okay, ignore that. So how are you two? Let's see, you're on the 22nd so you guys are sightseeing at Rome!^^ Of course I would know cause this is MY tour ;P
Bah, what am I saying, I'm stuck here in edmonton for the summer while you guys are traveling at the other side of the world. So have you done lotsa shopping? I did! (..in edmonton...) And I went to see lotsa movies like Troy and Shrek 2 (...in edmonton...), so mwaha, beat that! Ahhh~ Life in Edmonton is very luxerious(sp?), with the crappy weather and nowhere else to go but WEM... It's great being here........ -_- Yes, this is called Jenny's way of self comfort...
Though I'm quite dissapointed cause I have yet to receive a single postcard from you guys *scorns* Or maybe you already did send but it's like gunna take forever to get here. lol, maybe it's gunna be here after your back^^;
So yeah, I've descided to write you an email every day, if not, every second day, if not, every three day, if not, um... another one... if not even another one, you get to spank me when you come back >.>; Anyways! Have fun in europe! I'll spiritually be there with you guys! So don't worry if you see like this shadow or suddenly hear my voice out of nowhere, that's my haunting spirit. *nod nod*
PS. Sorry about not answering u on msn at that time, you just HAD to be on when I was taking a nice hot bubble bath... Yes, bubbles are nice... The duckys are fun too....
xoxoxo ~Jenny~ who's spiritually with you guys, since this IS Jenny's tour^^;

Hey Bren, Just a quick one before I go to bed to let you know that Jasmine went home on American Idol tonight, leaving Diana and Fantasia to battle it out next week in the final.
I read your latest postings and it was great to get my Brenna laugh in. You are one crazy young lady! I was so happy to hear from you last night. It sounds like you continue to have a blast and that's great to hear. Dad should be home sometime tomorrow but I'm not sure when. If you are going to call again soon wait til Friday or Saturday cause he'll be home and I know he will like to chat. I won't be home but I will post again after my Drumheller trip. Continue to have a blast, and be safe!!!!
Love you lots

P.S. It's all about SUNSCREEN!!! Don't forget.

Yay! Chelle finally gets to post 'cause she's back at home and can once more send emails instead of just being able to only watch the fun. All is well in the world once more.
I'm totally trying to remember what the places were like when we stayed in Florence, and it seems to me it was this very tiny and very cramped room will only fit the bed and barely my legs beside it kind of place. As I recall, Melissa had to leave her suitcase on the front porch 'cause it wouldn't fit in the room. *shrugs* Sounds like you've been upgraded. Although I recall they did have their own bathrooms, which is uber nice.
Hey, those toilets aren't spraying air freshnor, ye' great dork, they're spraying a "sanatizing mist". That's windex on yer bum, my girl.
I was just gonna warn you about the bathroom on the ferry that takes you from Corfu to Athens, but then I remembered you aren't going to Athens, so it so totally shouldn't be a problem. If for some reason you find that ferry, go before you get on. The bathroom is less a toilet than it is a great big hole cut in a piece of plywood ontop of a smelly pile of other people's yuck. And there's no light inside, so you have to do all of this gross in the dark as well. Not fun. Go before, or hold it, man.

Sorry about not emailing you guys lately, I've been swamped with Social Scrapbooks and Chem Labs and influenza -_-;. I figured, hey, while I'm at home, might as well write an email!
It sounds like you guys are having a great time in Europe, but I'm very disappointed I haven't heard any updates on the Kidnapping Colin Firth situation! What's the deal Brenna? Just haven't found him yet?
I wish I could travel the world as well, and so do a LOT of people, so good on you two for experiencing the world!
Next time you guys update, Brenna, you have to tell us what the people are like, what the cities are like, what the country side is like, what the prices are like, and your general Europinion.
Well, I'm not feeling so great again, so I'm going to dash! Have a great time in Italy!

It says that they received your letter for canceling and they are processing it. I will continue to check your visa account to see when the money goes through.
Hope you both had a good day.

Hey Bren, It was so cool to see that you actually were able to get a message sent. Dad got home today safe and sound and leave tomorrow for Toronto. He will be home on Thursday and then I'm gone on Friday to Drumheller with the Pathfinders. Weather here today was awesome, and this next few days is suppose to be more of the same.
Looking forward to hearing from you again soon. Call when you get a chance. We will hopefully be talking to Sean tonight so will remind him to get a posing up for you.
Be safe and take care.
Love you Bren,
Mom

Hey Bren It was so great hearing from you tonight. Although you sounded tired it sounds like you are having a good time. I'm sure that in the next couple of days the jet lag will have disappeared and you will be right into things. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the pictures that you have taken and catching up when you finally get the chance to read all your messages and send some notes home to us.
Hearing from you tonight, that you are well and having fun, meant a lot to me. Can't wait to talk to you again. Talk to you later.
Love you Lots

Hey Bren and Coleen, So I hope that your first day on tour was a good one. I was thinking of you today as you are hanging in Paris. Who would have thought that you would be half way across the world checking out the sights.
Weather here today was chilly but they say that we are suppose to have a great weekend. Hope the weather that you have is suiting you both. Dad left today (at 5:30 a.m.) to go to Sand Point Idaho and called tonight to say that they got there safe and sound. Talked to Rachelle tonight and she said that she hasn't posted yet because she can't send e-mails from Leo and Heidi's place so I guess she will send one when she can.
Well I'm off to bed now. Have a GREAT day tomorrow, and take lots of pictures. Take care of yourselves and each other!!!
Love you Bren, Bren

Hey Bren, Dad and I went to see Sound of Music tonight and, of course, it was great. Came out of the parkade to have wet snow falling (you would not have been excited). Hope you had a good night sleep and that you both made it up on time to catch the bus to get your show on the road. Dad leaves tomorrow morning for Sand Point, so I'll be home alone for the next couple of days. Talk to you soon.
Love You Lots
