I want to live in an onsen – without all the naked people. Okay, some naked people can stay.
So I went to an onsen for the first time. Onsen are natural hot springs which are abundant in Japan – though hot springs are treated more like bath houses. First you strip, then wash yourself, and then enter the magical wonderfulness of the onsen. I read that different onsen have different minerals which are all supposed to be good for different ailments. Either way, it was very relaxing and warm and I got to see the ocean and watch the sky turn dark. Very nice!
I thought getting over the nakedness would be hard but actually when you realize that no one cares, you stop caring yourself. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Japan! Also, on a humid day – it’s perfect! My skin feels so good now! Sorry dudes, no pictures for obvious reasons :S
There’s some crazy rain outside! Maybe it’ll help me sleep! Tomorrow is badminton! Here’s a picture of my cat to help you survive until my next post!

Suki! I’m pretty sure I saw her in Hell Valley ushering the dead.
