The climax of the book was the facade starting to slip and him falling back into his old ways. I guess if you're just looking for the Joker acting crazy the book may not be for you, but I thought it was a great character piece that added a lot of depth to an otherwise static character. I'm staying at the fortress for the next few days with full intentions to raid vance's comics, I'll let you know if anything else of interest comes up! I read that a couple months ago, and I actually didn't like it much. It seemed a very radical change to the canon Joker, and I think it demeaned his character -- they lowered him to nothing more than a regular, violent gangster. He was really boring. The art was really pretty in general, but I didn't enjoy the look of J and how they modeled him after LedJoker. For artists, I really like Eduardo Risso, he's got a really cool modern style. Jim Lee is also great from what I've seen.
