Oh my god I move on Saturday! That's in five days! FIVE DAYS.

This past weekend was awesome to the power of ten sunshine and bunny points. On Friday Mason and I celebrated our one year anniversary~ He's so amazing, he surprised me with a night out at Jubilations dinner theater, gorgeous flowers, and a really sweet letter full of cuteness~ *Loves her Mason and hugs and cuddles him to bits*

Then on Saturday we went on my big shiny moving-out IKEA shopping trip of JOY. I am now the proud owner of the following:

-- three full bookcase units (two in beech, one in white)
-- two mini bookcase units (both white)
-- two table-top desks (both white, of which together will make smarmy corner desk for office)
-- two 2-drawer nightstands (birch)
-- one 6-drawer dresser (birch)
-- one very pretty dressing table with drawer (birch)
-- three main room floor lamps
-- two wall clocks ($2.99 each for the win!)
-- a set of very smarmy curtains for the living room

*Strains* I think that's all. . . In any event, there's a lot of giant IKEA boxes taking up the empty office right now waiting to be built, and it all cost me a scary $1400. *Soul dies a little and flies away* No, really. I'm okay. *Hyperventilates into a paper bag* Right now I'm still too excited about my happy purchases to think too much about the money, but I'm sure when I get my Visa bill for this month I'll have my little moment of frantic hand flailing. It's all worth it though for how totally sexy the apartment will be~

So I've gotten hired on for some contract web work with a local company. It's exciting, and kind of scary because I've never done contract work before, but it means extra money in my pocket and after spending $1400 at IKEA it doesn't hurt for a few extra happy bills in my purse. Unfortunately, it's also come at the exact time of aforementioned move so this week is gearing up to be very busy and stressful. >_<;

Have I mentioned that I have ZERO progress with packing? None. Nadda. GAAH! GAAH! *Must haul ass this week*
