Happy~ (school stress put on hold for tonight due to technical glitches)Once again, it's been almost a month between posts. I blame school. You should blame school as well. You should all form a crazy, riotous mob and go down there and kick school's time-grubbing ass. I'll buy you the best of Canadian donuts and hot chocolate. (Because, really, what kind of riotous mob doesn't ♩ always have time for Tim Hortens? ♩) ←Free, shameless product advertising. I was supposed to be doing homework tonight, but my USB drive fucked up some how and I don't have the files I need, so I took that as a sign from the whatever from high atop the thing above that I should post on my blog!
So there's been lots of stuff I've wanted to make note of on that was all well and interesting at the time, but might not be so much anymore; but I'll just be a nerdy goob and -- in no particular order -- outline some of the finer (or worst) points of the last few weeks anyway, because else wise I won't feel as if I'm doing my blog justice after so long a lapse in updates. Peachy? Fab, baby, fab. Here we go.
I found music video mod for the Star Wars: Battlefront II video game that is, well, let's just say, it rocks my world in every possible way imaginable. One of my most fangirly whims come to life (in a manner of speaking,) Grievous on drums. *JOYGASM!* He is SO AWESOME. See, now if I was actually any good at 3D, that's what I would be making in class. T-T I also watched the Revenge of the Brick short from LEGO, which also rocked my world in awesome ways (but obviously in a much more adorable chibi way.) Tell me that he is not the cutest little butchering cyborg you've ever seen in your life.
And taking advantage of the convenient segway, I finally received my sexy $400 prosperity check, and I'd decided before hand that half of it was going to be much-earned splurge money. . .and so. . .I buckled and bought a Hyperspace membership, which automatically makes me the biggest, non-Star Wars fan nerd to have ever lived. I need to have access to the Grievous background articles they're releasing this month! I NEEEEED THEM! See, that's the thing. I could care less about the movies, and George Lucas can suck balls, but Grievous has become one of my newest character hobbies. I'm not a Star Wars groupie, I'm just a raving fangirl.
OMG, I received a JUROR SUMMONS. AGAIN. T_T *Twitch* This isn't fair. My sister has never gotten one in her life. My mom has never gotten one. I have now received two in one year. Let's just say I'm a little annoyed and leave it at that for now.
I'm really looking forward to this weekend, I get to spend so much more time with Lance finally~ With this weekend, and Valentine's Day next week, and Reading Week after that, that equals lots of amazingly awesome free time that we can spend together! Seriously, this once-a-week quality time deal so far sucks on so many levels, you cannot imagine. T_T
I got another raise at work, so now I'm making $11.00! HUZZUH! *Rolls around in her extra .50 cents.*
Last Monday the fire alarm went off at NAIT and we were ushered outside without jackets to huddle in the freezing cold for half an hour, until our first two period teachers told us to just take off for the morning. So me and group of people from my class went to Smitties for tasty pancake breakfasts, and then Mandi, Julie, and I trolled around the mall for an hour. It was good times. I really like the people I've met at school; we're going to try to arrange a potlucky type thing and game night for sometime during Reading Week. I'm determined to introduce them to Zombies and Ninja Burger, muh ha HA!
Hmm, my archives are no longer updating automatically. . . Something sinister with Blogger is afoot. I shall have to investigate. *Scowl*
All right, it's midnight and I need to go to bed, because six hours of sleep is just barely cutting it for me, people. I can barely walk at 6:15 in the morning, let alone function and process coherent thoughts. *Vanishes*
