accioBRAIN <-- Everyone go HERE. Now. Best HP spoof art I've ever seen in my life. (
OMGILAUGHEDMYASSOFF.)
YAYAYAY! I got my belated birthday stikfas from my brother in the mail this week! I am now the proud owner of the original fairy, and the new colored Mechana Robot, Delta Boy, and AWESOMELY AWESOME PHANTOM McINYOURFACEALOT. I have to find some kind of black paint that I can use to paint his red robes, and then I shall combine its power with that of my skeleton stikfa and thus there will be born the DEATH OF STIKFAS! Muh HA HA HA HA!
On Friday I went down for my first time to the annual
Taste of Edmonton with 'Manda and Lance. FOOD + FREE = SWEET DEAL was my relative brain equation. The California chicken with rice from Brewsters Brewing is a gift from god. Moxie's white chocolate brownie is also pretty joygasmic. :3 Ooh, and I also bought a cute three dollar bracelet from one of the vendors in Churchill Square because my right wrist was feeling rather bling inferior compared to my pimped out left wrist. I think this glorious festival of food is going to become an annual Brenna outing. . . BTW, on August 24th, after going to the NAIT and other assorted school registration, we're planning on jetting down to Churchill Square to eat lunch and lounge around like bums in the fountain. Anyone who's interested in frolicing around with us in the water should come with~
I'm starting school in a month, la la la la~ I'm surprisingly psyched at the concept of being back in school, though I suppose after two years of laying around like a bum it's to be expected. I crave actual knowledge. . .it feels like my brain is beginning to dribble out of my ears from lack of use. It also gives me the excuse to go school shopping -- I bought a pretty new school bag (and a new purse, not so much for school, but because my old one is getting rather worn and I just felt like getting a present for myself. My new bags make happy me~) It's strange, when I registered for the course I was mainly stoked for the video editing portion of it, and out of all the other classes the 3D animation one was the one I was least excited about; but recently I've been getting more and more interested in the idea of animation stuff.
http://www.pocketmovies.net/detail_331.html --> Some twenty-one year old dude from Edmonton made this after studying 3D animation. The idea of being able to make something like this is
wicked. I think I may end up changing what I choose to major in my second year.
My poor sick car was in and out of rehab down at Canadian Tire this week for numerous reasons. . .so it's all healthy again (with the exception of the flesh eating rust cancer slowly rotting away at the underside of the doors because of my car washing neglect. . . ¬__¬) but repairs also cost me nearly $400 bucks, which fills me with rage and resentful bitterness towards my car. I think it feels my hatred right now. . .it's taken on the habit of giving me static shocks every time I close the drivers side door. What a way of giving me the finger. My car is such an arrogant ass sometimes.
When my Mom drove down to the States earlier this month, she bought the
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince book on tape to listen to in the car. So now I'm listening to it. It's good background noise for when I'm drawing or messing around in my room. (Nineteen hours of HP, WOOT! I'll be finished it by probably, oh, Christmas. . .) It's read by a British dude which is neat, but the some of the voices the narrator does for some of the characters are nuts. Snape sounds like a snake stoned out of it's mind; and most of the female roles sound vaguely Russian or French. . . o_O
Blaaaaah, I work today and I don't want to. . . This six day work week sucks on a whole new bunch of levels of suckage. . .
