As a post-Christmas present to myself, I just splurged and bought a freaking kick-ass GAARA ufo catcher plush off this eBay auction. I just sent the money for it a few minutes ago and I don't even have the doll yet and already I love him to pieces. *^^* I was looking for a Kakashi one but his plush sells for more than thirty dollars, which is my plushy limit. I suppose I'll just have to steal Lance's Kakashi doll while he's not looking one day. . . Muh HA. *Shifty eyes* *Lance clutches Kakashi and cowers in the corner* I think I might buy an Escaflowne doujinshi as well if I decide to go crazy with my money, the little cheapass penny pincher that I am.

In any event, let us bask in the mad glory that is Gaara who will arrive upon my doorstep within one to two weeks. Muh ha ha ha ha ha.

Anyhoo, Christmas. That was good times this year. I got my pretty jacket and the "Pirates of the Caribbean" DVD, as well as the fifth season of Buffy. Huzzah! Then there's the regular fun wack of CDs and gift certificates which I plan on going on a splurgy shopping spree with for mindless things when I return from Hawaii. My sister also got me one the manga's I wanted to start reading -- coincedentally, it turns out it's yaoi which makes it automatically go from great to kick-ass awesome. I never expected to get a manga for christmas from anyone in my family, let alone it turn out to be one filled my beloved manlove. *Gush gush*

And then of course, there's also the tiny matter of HAWAII TOMORROW!!! ^____________^ C'mon, watch me, the poor little Canadian who has hardly stepped a foot out of dinky little west Canada, as I fly off to bloomin' HAWAII! *Dances as she gets leid coming off the plane by many the hot tanned men in skimpy grass skirts* That calls for another huzzah! (No worries, I'll bring postcards and jars of Hawaiian sand back for all, as well as sexy Hawaiian men for everybody -- yes, that's right, even you Lance! You can thank me after you spend the night ravaging your hot Hawaiian man!)

Oh, and can someone make sure to check in on Coleen every couple of days to make sure she hasn't drowned herself in her green tea? She seemed somewhat distressed that she was going to have to go a week without our daily inane phone conversations. (Don't worry, Carl-kun, maybe I can even find you some hot Hawaiian manlove. You must be strong! Be strong for the yaoi!)
